Four Interfaces of Global Change (IGC) fellows, Ying-Xian, Kesevan, James, and I, met with Dr. Stacy Endriss on April 14 for an IGC Coffee Conversation, an informal gathering designed to connect IGC students with faculty affiliated with the Global Change Center (GCC) at Virginia Tech.

Dr. Endriss shared her path to Virginia Tech and highlighted the twists and turns it took to get to her dream position. The fellows and Dr. Endriss discussed their 'north stars', which are their guiding motivations for the work that they currently do and want to pursue in the future. Sharing this helped everyone get to know more about their work, what drives them, and the lens through which they conduct their work.
