On November 15 the IGC Fall Picnic brought IGC fellows and GCC affiliates together for a relaxed evening in the Hahn Garden Pavilion and patio. Hosted by the IGC GSO and coordinated by Outreach Chair Grace O’Malley, the event featured a potluck dinner, plenty of conversation, and a big-screen livestream of the Hokies vs. Florida State football game. One of the highlights was the Golden Boot Award competition, where attendees showed off their Hokie spirit for a chance to take home and personalize the iconic gilded boot.
